Clayton's New Page

For some reason when I first typed this post (on Thursday, March 21), the computer deleted my message and all I had was a blank screen. So to quote the great Big Band leader Count Basie, "Let's try it one more time!"

I now have a web page of sorts. I say "of sorts" because it's not a full-blown web page as we might usually think of web pages. What I have is an interactive page through 7Villages in coordination with United Methodist Communications (UMCom). My page might best be described as part blog, part chat-room, part anything-goes. You can visit my page by going to http://7villages.com/capeak or by clicking here.

Addendum, Saturday, March 24, 2007
I've been spending a lot of time with my new page. It's kind of fun. It works somewhat differently than this blog. But I'm not going to give up on this blog. Here's my advice: if you like me (i.e., Clayton Peak), and you like what I write, then bookmark both pages and check them at least once a week. I'll see you in the blogosphere.

The (Mis)adventures of Kohlby Cat

Here's some pictures from a typical day in the life of Kohlby, our six month old kitten.

What's for supper?

There's no need to run the dishwasher. I've licked all the dishes clean.

Is it bath time yet?

I'm worn out. It's nap time!

199 To Go!

When I checked our blog site this morning, the visitor counter read 801! That means there have been 801 hits to this page since I first installed the counter in September 2006. I would like to think that 801 different people had visited our blog. However, I know there are a number of "repeat customers", including myself. I expect a number of those hits are just from me checking for accuracy and layout of each blog entry. And of course, I can't account for how many visitors there were to this blog before I installed the counter. (The blog was up and running for about a month before I figured out how to add a counter.) Nevertheless, only 199 hits to go until we reach the 1000 mark.

I invite each of you, dear readers, to visit our blog as often as possible so that we can reach that 1000 mark very soon!! :-)
